"Children are like wet cement. Whatever falls on them makes an impression."
- Dr. Haim Ginott
Welcome!
There is no more important or influential field in teaching than early childhood education. Shaping the minds and hearts of the preschool-age child is both a serious responsibility and a joy! Early childhood educators, whether in community based preschool programs, Head Start, or home based programs, face the daily challenge of “doing right” by their young charges. Taking this responsibility seriously means making a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development – but it doesn’t have to be boring! Just as it is critical to bring joy, laughter and excitement to the children each day, so are we obligated to bring joy to our own learning and personal growth!
Let’s get together and share what we know about supporting the learning of young children! You want to be the best professional early childhood educator you can be…so let’s get started!
